Jaquan I feel your pain brother. When you lose a mother your lifeline is gone. The thing that tethered you to this earth is gone and you don’t know how to stay grounded and live. It’s the hardest thing you ever have to do. But you can do it! For your mom. She would want you to live on and survive, because you’re strong and you can do it. She believes in you. You might not believe that, and I might not believe that myself but we will realize it down the road.

I cried for so many things in this video. Mainly one of them was for jay to finally find happiness again. I commented on a lot of things, but that’s just the counselor in me. Once again, please give jay my contact information so him and I can talk. It’s extremely hard for us who have never tried to attempt taking our own lives to judge or to wonder why they wouldn’t reach out. This video will inform others and bring more awareness to mental health and individuals who have fluctuating symptoms. That dark space he speak of is extremely real, and I have seen it personally first hand. Thank you lusheem for your pure honesty, admitting to your lack of knowledge about mental heath, and actually re-connecting with your besttriend. Let’s continue to keep jay in our prayers and learn more about mental health.
